Ive been running Windows Vista for about a month now, and I have to say. I have had no problems.

It has been working like a charm.

Ive played several games and they all have worked except one, and after upgrading my Nvidia video card drivers, that game worked great.

I have to say that my experience with Windows Vista has been really something to brag about. I know people have had their problems, which to be honest, it seems like most of the problems people are having with Vista are with drivers and software that hasn’t released working updates…..now I’m not going to be all blind, I do remember there was a problem with Windows mail where it would delete your whole inbox if a a virus was found.

Recently Dell announced that they have gone back to offering Windows XP as an option on computers that had gone to Vista only. Yea a lot of people have been complaining and I do think that this is a good thing for consumers. The thing I don’t get is how many people are now talking about how great Windows XP is. Ive heard

"If it ain’t broke don’t fix it"

"Why upgrade when you have a perfectly good OS with XP"

"Windows XP is a good operating system"

and many more comments where people are now praising XP like it was OSX. How quickly do people forget all the trash talking and downing of XP they were doing….and not that long ago. Now "XP is great" is what people are saying.

Another thing that I sometimes question is why is it that Vista is being blamed for problems. If the maker of your favorite wireless mouse hasn’t updated the drivers for Vista use, how does that make Vista buggy? If Battlestation Midway stutters in Vista because you need to upgrade to the latest Nvidia drivers, how does that make Vista Buggy?

Vista has been beta’d for almost a year, if these software and hardware manufactures haven’t updated their products, why blame Vista. They have had more than enough time to do so, they have had "heads up" like a muther.

The bad thing is, the slowness of these working driver and software updates are making it hard to move on to Vista, no denying that. But I just think people are putting blame in the wrong places.
