Which of these fall 2007 TV shows will get canceled?
I must say, I have really fell in love with television in the last few years. It started with the show 24, then with Lost. Eventually I got to the point where I am a junkie for what I like to call prime time soap opera’s. All those shows that have those overall underlying story lines that bounce from episode to episode. My new found love for TV has even brought back a long lost love of the sit-com. With shows like The Office, and Everybody hates Chris. But every year, there are shows that don’t make it. The show Daybreak hurt me the most, as I really liked that show and it didn’t make it past about 5 ot 6 episodes before it was canceled.
I often have conversations with friends, coworkers etc about TV shows and from the discussion’s Ive had, there are a few new shows that I think might not make it till the end of the season. I never really kept up with it before, but this year seems like there are a lot of new TV shows.
Which new TV shows will get canceled?
Well there are a few I think will get the axe, Some might not make it a full 6 or 7 episodes. Which ones do I think? Well if I would guess, here are a few…
Cavemen

- Cavemen is a new sit-com based on those mildly funny tv commercials. For some reason I think this show isn’t going anywhere. I’ll be honest, this show is horrible. I had high hopes for this show being that the commercials, which the characters of the show is based, were so popular. I sat down to watch the first episode and walked away thinking about all the other things this show kept me from doing. Since then I have watched a second episode and it gets no better. If Cavemen makes it passed 8 episodes, I would really be surprised.
K-Ville

- I have this thing with actors. I like to see people do things that are outside of what they are known for and succeed. Anthony Anderson is one of those actors. He is known for playing comedic characters, but lately he has dabbled in more serious roles. His recurring role in the Shield was pretty interesting. It started out with me thinking "Anthony Anderson a drug lord?", but by the end of the season, he was a dirty, mean, ruthless drug lord. I forgot all about Kangaroo Jack. His role in K-ville is a role I think he deserves. He is a cop in post Katrina New Orleans. The show reminds me a little of the Shield, minus the dirty cops. I really like the show. Sadly, I don’t think it will make it. Its one of those shows that I think people will have to give it a chance to grow on them, and the way television is now, most shows don’t get that opportunity.
Journeyman

- This show is hard to tell. I like the show, I think its "okay". I think it had a pretty slow start. The opening episode was pretty dull, but it got better. It reminds me a lot of Daybreak, even have one of the actors from Daybreak. I like Journeyman and I think it is good enough to keep going, but I just don’t see it catching on.
Right now thats how it looks to me, I may be completely wrong, well I hope I’m wrong with 2 out of 3 of those shows (Cavemen is horrible). A few other shows I think fall under the "will not make it" list are Big Shots, Aliens in America, Gossip Girl, Moonlight (maybe I should watch this show first), and Cane.

It’s always a tough call to choose which ones will make it and which ones will flounder. As I’m not in the US anymore, I really miss the new shows but at least I don’t get attached to shows that get canceled anymore.
Just from what you have said and what others have said, I am certainly missing nothing with that Caveman show.

I was a huge fan of “The rules of engagement” but it seems like the show is losing it’s touch.
My all time favorite is on HBO called “Tell me you love me”
It’s very graphic but so close to reality.

i loved abc since i was a kid,and wednesday and thursday are my favorite days of the week private practice is an awesome show better than grey’s. it took 4 seasons for one year of school. frankly i did know it was on that long. i did watch a few episodes of grey’s and i thought it was stupid that the doctors seemed to care more for themselves. people in the real world already think that their doctor cares more for their money why put it on screen. ugly betty and big shots are the best abc has ever made. ugly beety because of its take on beauty. didnt you see the none of their stars look anoxeric or bulimic. and big shots finally a show that men can watch. deals with the funnier side of rich life from trannies to your wife wanting you to have a baby with her best friend your ex-mistress. lol. the writers should get emmys.

As Tony said I think it is unfair to cancel all the show except Heroes…But if they going to cancel all the shows I hope they will not cancel Heroes, why??? because there would be probably a revolution…lol…
