Whats up with Technorati?
Is Technorati having some problems or is it just me? Lately Ive noticed some weird things when I visit Technorati. Usually, when I’m at my PC, I will have Technorati open so that I can see the most recent post from blogs I have in my favorite list. Throughout the day, I will refresh the page to get the new happenings. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that things I was reading about other places, wasn’t showing up on my "newest post from your favorite blogs" section. None of my own blog post were ever showing up, and the post that were on that page were all 7 days old - 8 days old etc.
I use to always have a decent influx if new blogpost whenever I refreshed the page, but at the time, I was always showing the same set of blog post whenever I visit. About a week later, it seems like the post started updating again, but theres a little problem. For the past 3 or 4 days, the only blogpost that are showing on my list are post from Geeknewscentral. Dont get me wrong, I like Geeknewscentral, its just that I have other blogs on my favorite list that just aren’t showing up. Blogs like Engadget, Crunchgear, Johnchow.com, and Robert Scoble. If you read those blogs, you’d know that all of the ones I just listed ussually have several post daily. Going 2 or 3 weeks without seeing an entry showing up definitely is a message that something is wrong.
The good thing is that if I go a step further and click on my favorites page at Technorati, all of the post that aren’t showing on my main page are indeed there, so they are getting listed. Just seems like that main page is borked or something.

to be frank with you i hated technorati - it’s really a pretty useless piece of site.. didn’t know they could be sold for so much..

I find the site very useful. The website gives me a nice PR 4 link and within a year or so my profile page will give me a PR5 link. I also get loads of traffic to my blogs from Technorati..
