Upgrade to Wordpress 2.3 Beta, test new features, or just be nosey…If you’re brave
I’ll be honest with you, Ive skipped the last Wordpress update (I did get the security update from a while ago though). All I needed was a few people to say that some of the plugins didnt work with the newest version and I was like "I’ll wait". If you are a wordpress user, as am I (and I love it) you may be pretty interested in the recent news about a Wordpress beta release. Version 2.3 has just been released over at Wordpress.org for all of you to try out.
Some of the features of 2.3 include plugin and core update notification, built-in tags support, faster javascript, and SEO-friendly URL redirection.
According to the blog post over at Wordpress.org.
Another thing that they are reminding all who decide to give it a try, it is a beta, and some of the code may have bugs, so be carefull.
But some of those features look pretty interesting, like I said, I really like Wordpress, but I dont think its completely perfect. Compared to DNN it is a nice change (for a blog).
Download the beta here, Or read the blog post for more info.
