Times are tough!!!
Every since Google laid the smackdown on people for doing sponsored blog post… excuse me "selling pagerank", I decided not to do anymore, and I haven’t, on either of my blogs. I suffered horribly at Jonzee.com with my Pagrank drop from 4 to 0. and this site has dropped from 4 to 3. I’ll admit, All of the Pagerank droppings that has happened with me might not have all come from Sponsored reviews, I did make a huge change at Jonzee.com which make every URL on the site change to a new URL. I tried to do 301 redirects or whatever but it didn’t seem to help.
Anyway, since then, Ive been pretty much relying on Google Adsense, and Amazon links, which aint cuttin it. (noone clicks on Adsense at this blog). Hosting fees, domain names renewals and other internet/blogging related bills are adding up and frankly, I’m missing those Sponsored reviews. I’ll probably have to do a few here soon to make some moola, but if you want to help me out, Ive set up one of those Chipin donation widgets where you can donate a few bucks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

good for you, if you remove the paid “sponsored” links from your blog posts your page rank should return to normal. However i have been hearing that most people havent lost any traffic just pagerank

I didn’t remove the links, I went through and made them all no follow.
Ive heard that too. I haven’t lost any traffic at this blog, but I definitely lost tons of traffic on my other blog, almost to the point where I one time thought about giving it up. Ive been blogging on that blog for almost 2 years. It really sucks to one day come in and see your traffic drop, then check and see your page rank dropped (I actually noticed the traffic drop before I notice the page rank drop).
the bad thing is that I didn’t do that many sponsored blog post, maybe 10 in a years time. I made an effort to let it clearly be known that the post was sponsored. which is probably what hurt me.

the big G, indeed really suck, they never let people get a better living, me too get smacked on my PR, but I didn’t really care anymore, since a PR didn’t significantly effect my SERP, so why bother… paid review is a legal and good opportunity, dam to google if the let me stop with it. TLA now didn’t sue PR as one of their consideration factor anymore

who cares about google PR, it wouldn’t hurt your traffic anyway, just some greeny indicators that google use to classify blog under their arrogant terms… as long as you have a strong back link.. It shouldn’t bring a problem..
