This “Xbox Mini” case mod project looks pretty cool!!!
Another little interesting thing I ran across while checking out my Mybloglog.com profile is this very cool Xbox mod.
Introducing the Xbox Mini!!!
Yea its a mod of the original Xbox, not the 360. Perfect case mod for a modded Xbox running XBMC. I know many of you Xbox owners are probably not using that console anymore but like I said in an earlier post, they make great media devices, believe me.
The Xbox mini mod is pretty cool. No DVD drive but who needs one after you’ve modded it. Everything your going to use on this bad boy will be stored on the harddrive via FTP transfer, or simply streamed from another pc on your home network. If your guessing, this will pretty much require you to hack your box by either using a mod chip or doing the softmod, before transferring it over to the Xbox mini case.
RIght now it is just a personal project, progress updates can be found here. Will it ever be made public, as far as the plans, or kits? I don’t know, hopefully it will. I want to do that to my Xbox.

Even after reading through the thread, I still have absolutely no clue how he was able to slim the X-Box down by that much.

That looks pretty sweet. Compare that to the Amazon ebook reader which looks like it’s from the 1960’s :S
