Back in 2007 I heard about a little game called Peggle that the crew from the PC gamer podcast was going crazy over. They talked about it so much that I had to try it or myself. so I headed over to Popcap and tried out the trial, eventually purchasing the game. Loving every minute of it.

What is Peggle?

PegglePopCap’s Peggle is a pinball style puzzle game that mixes skill and luck to create one of the most addictive games I’ve played in the past year. You have a virtual peg board loaded with 4 different color pegs. What you have to do is clear all of the red pegs. You do this by shooting a marble from the top of the board in a direction of your choosing and watch it fall to the bottom. Every peg the ball touches disappears as the ball reaches the bottom. To add to the excitement, each set of levels has a different mascot with its own “power up”. Those “power ups” activate when you hit certain color pegs.

The game is a casual game that will most likely have you playing it in a hardcore way. It’s available on PC and iPod.
