let the folks at Fixya.com help you with your problem

When things break in my house, the first thing I usually do is search for the problem Im having on Google. there are tons of information on the web, you just have to sift through all the garbage and spam to find what you need. A few weeks ago I was having a problem with my AC unit and was looking all over for the answer, sure wish I knew about Fixya.com at that time.
Fixya.com seems to be a pretty cool site. Free tech support, you cant beat that. But all you have to do is go to Fixya and search for your problem and if your lucky, you’ll find answers on how to solve it. If theres no answer, you can post your problem so that someone who knows about that product or device can help you out.
Free Social Tech Support!
The site deals with mostly electronic products and appliances. Sounds limited, but it pretty much covers everything in your house minus furniture. You can search by typing in your question, or you can browse by manufacturer. But it looks to be something to bookmark for that day your dryer stop drying. Fixya.com

Thanks for the tip. There are more services with a similar concept, but I like that one because there are concrete products so you can easily follow up the thread and ask questions.
I’m not sure if you know ChaCha.com. It’s from the other part, but I was thinking about it when reading your post. ChaCha is a search engine where real people are searching what you type them to search. Also very helpful service for lazy guys
