I usually don’t pay much attention to podcast made by "the establishment"….meaning commercial podcast or the like, but I made an exception the other day and subscribed to the Smodcast. What is the Smodcast you say? Well are you familiar with the movie Clerks? Clerks2? Jay and Silent Bob strikes back? This is a podcast created by the director and producer of those movies.

Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier gets together for about an hour an episode and dishes out more of that "witty" banter that we all know and love from all the Kevin Smith movies.  I may sound a bit sarcastic with that last sentence, but honestly, I am a fan of his movies and I do like to hear those dialogs that are known to be thrown in throughout his flicks. I think I own every movie he has made on dvd except Jersey Girl.

But on to the podcast…or should I say Smodcast, If you are interested in giving it a listen, be advised that the language in the Smodcast is about what you would typically expect from Kevin smith. And Scott Mosier, who you normally don’t hear a lot from, adds in a good dose of humor himself.

What is it about?

Pretty much they talk about their past experiences, the topics are wildly varied. I have listened to all 9 episodes and have enjoyed them all…but like I say I am a fan.
