Of coarse, like many of you, I happen to get a chance to check out the Transformers movie. I thought it was entertaining, a lot better than I was expecting. I kindof agree more with Alex than Dan on this one (the totally rad show).

The interesting thing, that surprised me was a trailer that was shown before the movie. It started with what looks like some college age kids having a going away party or something for someone. Looks like it was shot with a handheld camera or camcorder. Then there was noises and explosions, really cool, really caught my attention. Had me wondering "what is this movie?" I moderately keep up with movie news so many of the trailers I see, I usually can guess what movie it is in a couple seconds. This trailer was completely new to me. I didn’t know what it was and I was completely interested in knowing what it is, but right at the end of the trailer, instead of a movie title this was shown…..

Other than the date, JJ Abrams name was mentioned.

I eventually had a chance to try to find out some info about this movie, and so far it seems like it is a project that has been held pretty secret. Information has really been hidden. The cast has just really been revealed and many people know that it is some sort of monster movie. The code name of this movie is Cloverfield. I looked for the trailer online and it seems like Paramount has been having them removed from a lot of websites.

So I still don’t know much about the movie but it is something that has caught my interest and I will be keeping my eyes open to any news about this.
