TwitterIve said plenty of times before, I listen to a LOT of podcast. Lately Ive been hearing a lot of talk about Twitter. There are people out there that really love and are hooked on using Twitter. If you remember, when Twitter was first released, I tried it out for a week or so. Needless to say, I thought it was pretty pointless to use. I eventually just stopped using it. I use to have the Twitter widget on this site. after a while, I removed that.

I completely removed Twitter from my mind as a tool I would use.

Something happened. I got an email saying that someone "followed" me on Twitter. Mind you, I haven’t logged in or posted anything to Twitter since way back. I still don’t know why someone "followed" me. But that stuck in my mind. A little while after that, I started noticing podcasters talking about twitter more and more. Then that Sara Lacy thing happened at South by Southwest. Was talked about quite a bit on Cranky Geeks. Since then several podcast have had long sessions where they talked about Twitter. I started thinking that maybe I should give Twitter another chance.

Today I logged into Twitter, and started looking for some third party app that would be useful to me. Before, I used my cell phone to send Tweets and I admit, that was very convenient, but I’m not going to be spending all that extra loot on text messaging, especially if noone is reading (I only have 4 followers).

I think I will give it another shot but I have to find a way that will work well for me. I’m thinking about using that Tweetr App. What do you guys think? What App do you use?
