Jones PC has been listed on the sort of new D-list that was blogged about over at Courtneytuttle.com.

What is the D-list?

Remember a week or so ago, I blogged about how I am using a plugin to remove the "no follow" attribute from links that are left in the comments? Well the D-list is a list of blogs that are all doing the same thing. When I first started looking for a plugin to remove the no follow attribute, I didn’t know about the D-list. I just did it because being that I’m a new blogger, I know how hard it is to get people to link to you. I don’t mind linking to people, or having links that are left in comments "follow". Comments are part of blogs, the discussions only add to the content you write, so why shouldn’t a legitimate link comment left on a blog count?

The key word here is legitimate.

Thats where theres a grey area. you may comment on someones blog just for the link, but the comment has to be something that contributes to the blog post you are commenting on, not just a "Hey nice post".  Heres the guidelines that explain things pretty well (taken from Court)

           

"Do Follow Guidelines

When you’re visiting a site that has the Do Follow plugin, you should leave comments that are informative and add to the discussion. If you don’t, your comment probably will be moderated. On the other hand, if you leave educated, informative comments, the blogger will likely visit your site, which can bring extra traffic to you. They may also link to posts that they like."
