Heres something for you to listen too
Ive talked about podcast several times, I listen to them quite often…almost on a daily basis. One thing Ive mentioned before is that I also have a weekly Podcast show that Ive been doing weekly for about 6 months. The show I do basically have the same topics as my other blog, jonzee.com.
Basically the format of the podcast is broken down into 2 parts. In the first section I go over different consumer news items, I talk about different products, previews and reviews of gadgets and other things that I may have blogged about. I try to bring listeners information about where to buy things online, and try to keep listeners informed about different deals and online services you can find online.
The second portion of the show, I ussually talk about different blogs that Ive ran across throughout the week. And of course the links to everything I talk about are always posted in the show notes.
Lots of podcaster swear by iTunes, basically iTunes is the biggest podcast directory. In my experience, I have had a little success in itunes but most of my listeners have subscribed using the regular rss feed. I have only casually tried to get listeners and figured its about time to put a little more effort in building my listener base, especially in itunes.
