Check the forums at Wordreference.com to find the perfect word for what you want to say
Are you a blogger?
Have you ever ran across something you wanted to say but wasn’t sure if you had it spelled correctly, or if you actually had the right terminology?
"Your" and "You’re" is one word that many people make mistakes with. Ever made that mistake?
I admit, I’m not an English teacher, nor do I claim to have the best grammar when I’m writing blog post. I try to be as correct as I can but I make mistakes. One thing that helps me a lot is the spell checker that is in Firefox and Microsoft word. But grammar and choosing the right words to say what you want to say is something that is based on your overall vocabulary, or how good you are with your vocabulary. You might know exactly what you want to say but putting it on paper is a different story. Earlier I was looking for the correct word for something I was typing and did a search on Google and found a website that seems to be pretty useful, figure Id share it with you.
Its title (simply enough) is wordreference.com.
At wordreference.com you can find information on a lot of different words and phrases, in different languages. It will convert words from one language to another and give you the definition. But the cool part of this site is the forum (different URL, click here for the forums). There you can ask questions on how to say what it is you want to say there are tons of people to help you out. If your lucky, the question you have has already been asked and answered.
The question I had earlier that I searched for was right there without much looking around so I was happy and went on to finish typing up what I was typing. You might want to give them a try the next time your trying to figure out how to say something.
