David JonesWhat can I say? basically I love the internet, I love technology and recently I found out I love blogging so here I am. A little about my background, I work at a local manufacturing facility, a regular ole job that has absolutely nothing to do with the internet or technology (well not the technology people usually associate with the internet). About 2 years ago, I had an idea for a website, so I registered a domain name and learned how to create websites using ASP. Well the website got off the ground and got a few visitors and my personal life distracted me from trying to promote it any more than I already had. Eventually, I took care of those personal distractions and went back to update the website to keep up with the current day, and what do you know. The host erased the site…by mistake. Well the plan was to rebuild the site and start over, and I created a blog in the meantime, which I found out that I loved blogging, and that blog is steadily growing. All through highschool, I was interested in Computers, Ive always wanted to know how to use them, how they work, wanted to be able to create programs etc, but my only access to them was the computer classes I took in highschool. after I graduated I got a job that in turn allowed me to be able to buy my first PC, and I use that thing constantly trying to learn everything I can about computers. After a couple of months of being a PC owner, I decided I wanted to add more ram to my PC, so I called a local PC store and made an appointment to bring my PC in to have ram added. When I got there, the store owner completely forgot the appointment and decided to go ahead and add the ram while I was in the store. It was the worst thing (or the best thing) anyone could’ve ever done. After I saw how easy it was and thought about how I actually paid him to add that ram, I decided to do everything else I would ever need done to my PC myself. From then on I learned a lot about building and repairing PC, and started doing so as a hobby (and sometimes as a part time job) So there you have it, a little something about me.
